REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registrations for the 2023 season with the Waverley Park Hawks are now open for all returning and new players.  The SMJFL have migrated our registration process to a new platform, PlayHQ, which many families will be familiar with from other sports, such as Basketball.

​

Full instructions have been provided on the use of the new PlayHQ platform and the Waverley Park Hawks Committee will provide assistance to all players and families with registrations as required.

Returning Players

​

All returning players must register and pay using the PlayHQ platform and there is a process to follow to claim your former player profile from the Gameday system.  Please click below for full instructions.

New Players - New to Club football and/or Transferring from Auskick

​

Players who are new to club football (including those who have previously been registered with an Auskick Centre) can also register via PlayHQ.

New Players - Transferring from Another Club

​

Registrations for new players to the club who are transferring from another club cannot be finalised until the transfer is approved.

Age Group Eligibility

​

A player's age group is determined as follows:

Under 8   Born on or after 1 January 2015
Under 9   Born on or after 1 January 2014
Under 10 Born on or after 1 January 2013
Under 11 Born on or after 1 January 2012
Under 12 Born on or after 1 January 2011
Under 13 Born on or after 1 January 2010
Under 14 Born on or after 1 January 2009
Under 15 Born on or after 1 January 2008
Under 16 Born on or after 1 January 2007
Under 17 Born on or after 1 January 2006
Under 18 Born on or after 1 January 2005

Minimum Age Requirement

​

Children must have turned 7 years old by 30 April 2023 to be eligible to register and play with our club in the SMJFL. The club cannot relax this age requirement which is mandated by the AFL. 

(Note children who do not meet the minimum age requirement for club football may register with our AusKick Centre. To participate in the AFL Auskick program children must turn at least 5 years of age in 2023).
 

2023 Registration Fees

The fees for the 2023 season are as follows:

Early Bird – available until 12th February, 2023

SMJFL Fee: $50
WPH Registration Fee: $135
Total Payment: $185

Subsequent Children 

SMJFL Fee: $50
WPH Registration Fee less 50%: $67.50
Total payment for subsequent children: $117.50

Standard Registration (after 12th February, 2023)

SMJFL Fee: $50
WPH Registration Fee: $195 
Total Payment: $245

Subsequent Children 

SMJFL Fee: $50
WPH Registration Fee, less 50%: $87.50
Total payment for subsequent children: $137.50

Registration fees include a 2023 Waverley Park Hawks Warm-up Top for each player (Value $35). (The picture below is for illustrative purposes only)
